| Position Summary |

As part of the CESD group, candidate will be involved in the architecture, design and development of next generation carrier class MPLS switches. |
|
|
|
| Essential Duties & Responsibilities |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Define system architecture including evaluation of enabling technologies, both hardware and software
- Design carrier class infrastructure for IPv4/MPLS switching. Areas of responsibilities include IP RIB, FIB, MPLS FIB, Adjacencies and tunnel infrastructure.
- Scope and assist in validation testing activities and ensure product delivered to validation team aligns with original customer request
- Serve as technical reviewer of technical documentation in support of product development and release
- Assist and lead in some early product demonstrations to customers

| Skills |

- Requires strong proficiency in networking protocols
- Expertise in L2VPN technologies, MPLS OAM required.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of current routing architectures.
- Strong experience with High Availability features for
routers.
- Must possess outstanding problem solving skills in the diagnosis and resolution of customer issues.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- BE in CS/EE. MS preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience developing carrier class routers, switches etc
