Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking applicants for a paid internship in our Carlsbad, CA office. The successful candidate will have completed upper division course work in their major area of study including environmental science, engineering, hydrology, environmental chemistry, or similar.

About the internship:

The selected candidate will perform assignments under the supervision of scientists and engineers.

Assignments may include: collecting water and sediment samples in dry and wet weather; installation and maintenance of monitoring equipment and sensors; recording of field observations and measurements; organization and preparation of equipment and supplies for monitoring; and data entry.

Minimum Requirements

• Positive attitude and desire to work in the environmental field.
• Ability to work well in teams and take direction from staff members. Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather and challenging conditions.
• Valid driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Upper division course work in environmental science, engineering, hydrology, environmental chemistry, or similar
