Your Opportunity
You are an information specialist who relishes solving novel problems in the areas of machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, information extraction, document summarization, information retrieval, search relevancy, and/or knowledge graphs. You will bring new ideas, iterate quickly, share findings, and drive new solutions for content metadata enrichment and content discovery/findability.
This job is not a traditional software developer or data science role and is best suited to someone with knowledge and experience in fields such as information systems, knowledge management, and/or library science. Creativity in the face of open-ended problems is required.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).
What You'll Do
Your Team
You will join a ~20-member Semantic Enrichment department comprised of a Machine Learning Team and Operations Team. You will join the 5-person Machine Learning Team, working closely with the 15-person Operations team comprised of taxonomists and metadata specialists. The department takes an agile development-like approach to planning and executing work, and we work closely with developers and product managers from content, search, and UI/UX teams.

Target Annual Compensation Range: $109,800 - $156,855.
