8.Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- - Design develop and maintain efficient reusable and reliable C++ and C#.Net code.
- - Implement performance and quality modules to ensure software meets industrial standards.
- - Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- - Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
- - Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle ensuring the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- - Provide expertise in Production Planning & Control applying this knowledge to develop software that meets industrial manufacturing needs.
- - Stay updated with the latest technologies particularly Microsoft Azure IoT to enhance system capabilities and offer innovative solutions.
- - Ensure the creation of detailed software documentation.
- - Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues to minimize impact and future occurrences.
- -Qualifications
- - Proven experience as a Sr. Developer with strong proficiency in C++ and C#.Net.
- - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
- - Experience in Production Planning & Control in an industrial manufacturing domain is essential.
- - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure IoT is advantageous.
- - Ability to work independently and in a team demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- - Adept at conducting software analysis including code review requirements review and software reliability analysis.
- - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
- - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is preferred.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,200 - $106,200 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
