Responsibilities

Orrick currently has an opportunity for a project finance associate to join our market-leading Energy & Infrastructure practice in New York. We are looking for an associate with 3 to 5+ years of experience in the areas of energy and/or infrastructure-focused project finance work (relating to renewables, power, oil & gas and/or infrastructure), with significant experience in complex project finance transactions and other energy-related leveraged financing transactions. Experience on complicated financing transactions that involve multiple creditors and capital providers, even if not energy-related, are an added valuable skill that we are seeking. We are seeking candidates who have worked on a broad range of project financing solutions, including commercial bank facilities, bridge and term loan Bs, taxable and tax-exempt U.S. private placements and 144A bonds. Construction financing, holdco financing, and refinancing experience, and experience negotiating and documenting intercreditor terms are additional strengths that we seek. Qualifications
    3 -5 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior communication skills.
  • Membership to the New York State Bar.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 and $365,000.

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
