Pay: $20-$32/hr
As an Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and adherence to specifications. Your responsibilities will include inspecting forged bars, rings, and rough machined parts, and collaborating with the Chief Inspector under supervision and training.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain professionalism at all times
- Interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to gather product information
- Compare surface finish or workpiece to standard blocks, ensuring specified surface finish
- Measure dimensions to meet product specifications and set up inspection equipment for accuracy
- Use forklifts and cranes to handle heavy parts as necessary
Qualifications:
- 1-year certificate from college or technical school preferred
- 3-5 years of related experience and training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds
