Job Description

Purpose of the role:

This role supports the assigned team in attaining its quota and involves independent interaction with clients for general account management tasks and order fulfillment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively support day-to-day Account Management activities to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate the competence to prioritize multiple tasks and double-check the accuracy of information and work product.
  • Leverage internal resources to maintain momentum in opportunities.
  • Act as an active listener with a comprehension of client needs.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Build and maintain distinct client relationships.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with clients.
  • Support the research and development of account and opportunity planning.
  • Take responsibility for updating relevant client information, including but not limited to activity, funnel, opportunity updates, maintenance of monthly goals, client proposals, and client contracts.
  • Look beyond the requirements of one's job to offer suggestions for improvements in overall business processes.
  • Exhibit proactiveness with ongoing account management activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Possesses a well-honed sales skill set, encompassing persuasive selling, negotiation techniques, closing strategies, pipeline and opportunity cultivation, cross-selling abilities, and handling objections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), along with a comprehensive understanding of Internet research methodologies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using a Client Relationship Management system (preferably Salesforce.com).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Capable of establishing robust personal connections with individuals.
  • Aptitude for comprehending technical jargon and concepts.
