Job Description
Infrastructure Technicians (All experience levels) Come join a team of IT pros working with an industry leading micro-processor manufacturer. We are looking for Infrastructure Technicians for all levels of experience in the Phoenix, AZ area. We have a variety of opportunities offering rewarding work and a comprehensive benefits package. As a structured cabling technician, you will install, service, and maintain our client’s low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling and other various low voltage cabling systems. Primary Roles & Responsibilities

* Perform installation and service of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling, communication equipment and other various low voltage related systems such as Category 3, Category 5, Enhanced Category 5, Category 6 and Fiber Optic Structured Cable Distribution Systems.

* Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems and perform repairs as necessary.

* Perform upgrades and additions to cabling infrastructure systems in order to increase functionality and usability.

* Coordinate with other Team Members within Operations for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.
 

Education & Experience Requirements

* Minimum 2+ years’ experience or relevant training installing, servicing, and maintaining low voltage cable infrastructure systems such as Category 3, Category 5, Enhanced Category 5, Category 6 and Fiber Optic Structured Cable Distribution Systems.

* Industry and manufacturer specific experience and/or certifications preferred (examples: BICSI, Panduit, Commscope, Siemens, Corning, Leviton, Ortronics, AV, Fiber Optic, Paging, etc).

* Strong customer service skills

* Valid driver’s license

* Heavy Work: May frequently exert force equivalent to lifting up to approximately 50 pounds and/or occasionally exert force equivalent to lifting up to approximately 100 pounds.


All Levels of Experience Desired:

* Support Technician – Appropriate education or training, Entry Level - 0-2 years relevant experience

* Tech I – 2-3 years relevant experience

* Tech II – 4-5 years relevant experience

* Tech III – 6+ years relevant experience in a lead role


Highly Desired, Skills & Certifications:

* CNET CNCI,

* BICSI Installer (INST1),

* BICSI Installer 2 copper/fiber (INSTC/INSTF)

* BICSI Technician (TECH)

* Manufacturer certifications

* Experience operating scissor/boom lifts

* Lift Certifications
